Nathan Kaiser is a former summer resident who has now returned to the island to explore what year-round life means. He will be one of our concierge & experience liaisons this summer, and will be transitioning into a real estate agent in the fall. You can catch Nathan this summer at the Concierge Desk at The Lobby Bar at 41 Main Street, or driving around the island in the 02554 Van. Several years back while attending the University of Colorado Nathan befriended two Nantucket natives and another mate who was a summer resident of the island since a young age. They all forged a deep friendship with the mountains as their medium, touring and skiing throughout the beautiful ranges of Colorado. While at school the Nantucket locals spoke of their homeland and how amazing it was, so in the summer of 2008 Nathan hopped in the car and took a road trip across the country to see this mythical island his friends called home. After just 2 weeks on island, Nathan decided that he had to come back for a full summer which he did in 2009 and 2010, spending two seasons working at The Nantucket Lobster Trap. Nathan is an outdoors enthusiast, loving anything and everything that keeps him outside. Some of his favorite activities include; skiing, hiking, biking, rock climbing, and camping. Nathan is also a certified Sommelier and is very dedicated to furthering his knowledge of wine and the wine industry, whether that means traveling to different wine regions of the world or simply enjoying a glass of wine with his lovely girlfriend Lexi. Nathan’s favorite island beach is Madequecham, and when he’s not on Nantucket, he loves the vibrant culture, food, and music of New Orleans.
